## About Us

BER Shoes was born from a story that started in a small town in the middle of Argentina.

I grew up in General Pico, La Pampa, and later moved to Córdoba for university. It was there that I discovered a small family-owned shoe factory that made the most stylish, comfortable, and durable shoes I had ever worn. Even after more than 10 years, I still have some of those same pairs in impeccable condition.

While visiting the United States during college, a few women stopped me to ask where my shoes were from — something that completely surprised me at the time. Years later, after moving to the U.S. to pursue cancer research, the same thing kept happening. That’s when the idea for BER Shoes was born: bringing these beautifully made Argentine shoes to women in the United States.

The name BER comes from our daughter, Bernardita — our baby girl and the inspiration behind this dream. Starting BER Shoes became our way of building something meaningful for our family while sharing a piece of Argentina that I have always loved.
